You see these are shoes with a difference. They are gorgeous charms designed by the legendary Manolo Blahnik.
The charms are based on his 1994 Campari Mary Jane design . This shoe became something of an iconic shoe after it was featured in numerous films and TV shows (lets not even mention Carrie Bradshaw ;-).
Manolo Blahnik said about his collaboration with Tous,
"I really like Touse because I believe that we have many things in common. We are two family run businesses, we have Spanish roots and both like to surprise and innovate".
What do you think?
Do you like charm jewelry?
Do you like, or own a pair of Manolo's?
Would love to hear what you think.
Very neat find. I do not own a pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes, but watched those shoes religiously on Sex and the City.
ReplyDeleteI also don't own a pair of MB's Leigh, but this might be the closest I get to that ;-)
DeleteDangerous! It would be fun to have one as part of a charm bracelet.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought Rebekah ;-)
DeleteThis is a great! when I was in corporate I would treat myself to MB shoes when a huge deal closed! I have never gotten blister from a pair of MB shoes. This shoe charm is brilliant ... how much is it? and is it available outside of Spain? xo HHL
ReplyDeleteHi Celia. They are gorgeous aren't they. They can be found on www.tous.com
DeleteLet us know if you buy one (fits in well with the name of your blog also) xx
I've never owned a pair of MB's...but the little charm is cute. I love looking at heels but know I'd end up under a bus if I dared traipse around in them every day!
ReplyDeleteLOL!!! Yes the charm is a great idea for those of us that fantasize about running around town in these ;-)
DeleteProbably cheaper to own one as a charm I'm guessing! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat was my thought also Bliss ;-)
DeleteI have never owned any MB's. Don't know where I would wear them out here in the suburbs. That charm sure is cute. That is something I could wear...no problem. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI think we all need more shoes :O) Gorgeous necklace.

ReplyDeleteI'll take a Manolo any way I can get it...gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteMe too ;-)
DeleteThank you popping over. Lovely seeing you here x
Hello gorgeous necklace! Those remind me of the episode of SATC, when Carrie tries on the Mary Janes in Vogue!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend V!
x.o.x.o
Exactly!! I think it's an episode we all remember ;-)
DeleteHave a great weekend Sweets xx
I have had my eye on charm jewelry lately, especially after seeing strands and stands of a Dolce and Gabanna necklace with vintage religious charms placed randomly throughout. It reminded me of those gorgeous Chanel necklaces. So.. in answer to your question, I guess I do like charm jewelry. What I would really like is to create my own necklace filled with charms from my travels. Only wished I thought of it a lot sooner!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Vanessa for a fab weekend!
Jeanne xx
TYSM sweets for your lovely comments. What a fab idea that would have been; a charm bracelet of your travels. You can still start one now-better late than never.
DeleteHave a fab weekend too Jeanne xx
Oh I missed this post, I had those in black and sold them on Ebay and deeply regret it, they are so comfy, I kept the nude ones though but I'm off nude shoes now because of Kate M.
ReplyDeleteI "knew" you would be one of my followers who owned Mary Janes Tabitha; you are SO stylish.
DeleteI'm sure the nude version are lovely. Dig them out and give them a whirl ;-) xx
