I WIsh For You..............

September already!!!
I can't believe Summer is officially over.

However, September is always a month
of new beginnings for me (I think it
harks backs to school days; I loved
getting all my new books, uniform etc for school)

September makes me want to
set new challenges, new mini-goals,
new mantras, new habits.............
new everything.

So this September my lovely ladies
I  wish for you:

*the joy of new discoveries

*the joy of "YES!!! I get it"

*the joy of seeing previously new ideas
coming to fruition

*the joy of reason

*the joy of mastery; whether that be of  your
own muscles (did I tell you I am starting a new running
programme. Sounds impressive, but when I tell you
I have the running abilities of a centipede, and have
a husband who runs about 12k
everyday, you will get why
this is a challenge for me),

I'm sure I would run much better if I had these

* the joy of mastering a new hobby, a new job,
a new recipe, a new language.

Anything.
Everything.

*the joy of  new journeys

*the joy of meeting someone new

*the joy of doing something for the first time

*the joy of finally realising there is no rush

*the joy of saying "no".

*the joy of life never growing stale

and of course the joy of sparkles

    1. Thank you so much Coco. I usually just pick images that feel good rather than any other profound reason ;-)

  2. Sorry dear, I spelled your name wrong because in Italy it would be Vanessa. Is it ok if I call you Van? :-)

    1. Ha! Yes of course Sweets. In fact it was spelt with 1 'n' but after a mind-blowing session with a numerologist who suggested I change it to 2 'n's' which I have now legally done.

  4. Ha! I guess it must be so different if you have children and the whole new school term, timetables, morning rush etc all begins. I do "get" why you hate it Sharon. All my friends with children are exactly the same ;-)

  6. Wonderfully said, and Yay for sparkles. I wish to also experience all of these joys. the month of September doesn't have that much of a significance here, as our schools/universities begin in January. Also its meant to be spring but its only 6 degrees!! All the best with the running, are you also taking it up? Happy September Doll!!

  7. I love the change of seasons too!! Though mine is from Winter to Spring. :-) How I'm LOVING it! I'd forgotten what it's like to be so deliciously warm. :-) I'm excited to spend a lot of time outside this Spring. I've set up two outdoor work stations so I can do painting and sewing and writing and anything else I like. :-) It's going to be lovely. :-)

  10. Me too Dee. I seem to get a renewed vigor in September and I'm enjoying it so much more in the UK where Autumn is very defined (unlike in Spain ;-) Thank you for stopping by Sweets xx

  14. Good morning Vanessa! I adore this month for so many reasons, but back to school is one of them, the cool air, the anticipation of all things dormant. And that photo with the pink shabby chic table....WOOOO!

Thank you so much for coming to leave a message on my post. You are KIND! Enjoy your day, Anita
