Europe (including me in Spain!),

What are your plans for Valentines, do you not celebrate?
Is Valentines just another commercial marketing day?
Here in Spain it is still not that popular,
altho it is growing in popularity each year.
Couldn't resist this!
Boys will be boys ;-)
Would love to hear what you" really" think ;-)
We don't do cards or flowers or gifts, just a kiss and a Happy Valentine's Day greeting, that's it!
ReplyDeleteDitto for us too Tabitha x
DeleteI love the Desigual clutch!!
ReplyDeleteI think Valentines is totally commercial yes, but I'll still be doing some little treats, for my children too, on Tuesday :) X
I think it's different when you have children Sim, as they get wrapped up in the joy of hearts etc ;-)
DeleteIt's all good stuff!
Vanessa...those last two photos are so adorable! It is hard to pick my favourite from the others...they are all so special!
ReplyDeleteJeanne xx
Aren't they scrummy Jeanne?
DeleteI like the clutch as well. We don't do anything to celebrate V Day. Mr SK is always bringing me lovely gifts etc throughout the year (he's so good, I know!)so Valentine's Day isn't anything special for us. I prefer to surprise him with little gifts when he isn't expecting anything! x
ReplyDeleteWe are the same SK; love and gifts all year around ;-)
DeleteOh wow! I want it ALL! I am off to stalk those beautiful wedges now! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteYou to Meghan xx
DeleteSome lovely things there, but we don't seem to celebrate it anymore, getting too old to care I guess!
ReplyDeleteI love it all especially the floral clutch and the first necklace! I also love the last picture- so adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI'm your newest follower and would love if you followed me back through Google Friend Connect as well :)

TYSM for popping over and following. I will pop over and have a look at your blog too ;-)
DeleteI've never actually been with my man on Valentine's Day until this year, so I'm not sure what we'll do. :-) We talked a bit last night and think we may go see the musical Mary Poppins in Brisbane - it's supposed to be fantastic. :-) We don't care too much about keeping the holiday, we just like doing things together. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt seems that we are all singing from the same song sheet; we don't buy into the commercial side of things, but love doing things year round with our loved one ;-)
DeleteHave a lovely day whatever you do for your first Valentines together xx
Aww, such a wonderful selection! I think I love them all, but the pendant and heels are definitely my faves!
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday sweetie!
xx Ivana
Stop by sometimes :)
Macarons and Pearls
You too Ivana, and enjoy your last Valentines as a singleton ;-)
DeleteI am not usually a fan of heart shaped jewelry but that first pendant is really cool. And the picture of the baby?...oh my goodness. ;)~~Bliss
ReplyDeleteI know! Isn't she just eatable? ;-)
DeleteI am LoVinG the gorgeous pair of red heels and printed clutch bag! Gorgeous choices. I'm not one for Valentines Day but I wish you a fantastic one!
ReplyDeleteTY Sam; I'm not really either ;-)
DeleteValentine's is my husband's birthday, so I like to celebrate that instead. We never go out (too many people). I make him carrot cupcakes, his favorite meal, and then do just nice things for him all day, like wear red (his favorite color) and let him watch his favorite movie(s).
ReplyDeleteLove your choices, Vanessa ... oh my gosh, that pendant is stunning! And that baby? So adorable! Have been putting away a few small things for my husband tomorrow ... I usually scatter a few things throughout his day ;) Speaking of Valentine's Day, fyi, a very special Valentine present is being gifted to someone on the Pink Valentine post this week! ~xoSM

Hi Vanessa! Oh that baby is so adorable! Here in RI people do celebrate....many restaurants take reservations, chocolate hearts everywhere in the stores. Russell Stover is the most popular. We celebrate quietly with chocolates and flowers from hubby. Usually a dozen red or pink roses each for me and Amanda from hubby. I will go to the bakery and pick up his favorite dessert, a heart shaped carrot cake. Valentines day is a pretty holiday with all the pink and red.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines day to you my friend!
Dee xoxo
Hi
ReplyDeleteI think Valentines is more of a dating holiday. It's very commercial, and we never go out on Valentine's Day, but this year,we are going to Charlotte so I can work with a hotel on several posts so we'll have a nice dinner, spa, and some time alone...well-deserved. One child has a sitter here, and the other is off with Grandma. Yea!!!
I love that first pendant! It's beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteWe had a wonderful Valentine's Day and hope you did...adore these images...the baby with the hat is precious!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorites are those ballet slippers and oh...that BABY!! LOVE! Have a great weeknd! And I just saw I'm in your blog roll...THANK YOU!!
