  1. We don't do cards or flowers or gifts, just a kiss and a Happy Valentine's Day greeting, that's it!

  2. I love the Desigual clutch!!

I think Valentines is totally commercial yes, but I'll still be doing some little treats, for my children too, on Tuesday :) X

    1. I think it's different when you have children Sim, as they get wrapped up in the joy of hearts etc ;-)
      It's all good stuff!

  4. I like the clutch as well. We don't do anything to celebrate V Day. Mr SK is always bringing me lovely gifts etc throughout the year (he's so good, I know!)so Valentine's Day isn't anything special for us. I prefer to surprise him with little gifts when he isn't expecting anything! x

  8. I've never actually been with my man on Valentine's Day until this year, so I'm not sure what we'll do. :-) We talked a bit last night and think we may go see the musical Mary Poppins in Brisbane - it's supposed to be fantastic. :-) We don't care too much about keeping the holiday, we just like doing things together. :-)

    1. It seems that we are all singing from the same song sheet; we don't buy into the commercial side of things, but love doing things year round with our loved one ;-)
Have a lovely day whatever you do for your first Valentines together xx

  12. Valentine's is my husband's birthday, so I like to celebrate that instead. We never go out (too many people). I make him carrot cupcakes, his favorite meal, and then do just nice things for him all day, like wear red (his favorite color) and let him watch his favorite movie(s).

  13. Love your choices, Vanessa ... oh my gosh, that pendant is stunning! And that baby? So adorable! Have been putting away a few small things for my husband tomorrow ... I usually scatter a few things throughout his day ;) Speaking of Valentine's Day, fyi, a very special Valentine present is being gifted to someone on the Pink Valentine post this week! ~xoSM

  14. Hi Vanessa! Oh that baby is so adorable! Here in RI people do celebrate....many restaurants take reservations, chocolate hearts everywhere in the stores. Russell Stover is the most popular. We celebrate quietly with chocolates and flowers from hubby. Usually a dozen red or pink roses each for me and Amanda from hubby. I will go to the bakery and pick up his favorite dessert, a heart shaped carrot cake. Valentines day is a pretty holiday with all the pink and red.

Happy Valentines day to you my friend!

    Dee xoxo

  15. Hi

I think Valentines is more of a dating holiday. It's very commercial, and we never go out on Valentine's Day, but this year,we are going to Charlotte so I can work with a hotel on several posts so we'll have a nice dinner, spa, and some time alone...well-deserved. One child has a sitter here, and the other is off with Grandma. Yea!!!
