Note to Self

Sometimes it might not look like it.........
it might not feel like it.......you may feel like giving up.

But that  thing you are working on, that you
have put your heart and soul into for so long....
it really is happening

It may be going slower than you want.

It may not be taking shaping according to YOUR
timetable.

But stop constantly taking score

It IS unfolding.

Enjoy this part of the journey.

When you get to your destination will
you look back and wish you savored every step
because now you realise that every difficult step was
wrapped in fabulousness?

You really can't feel the good stuff unless you
know what the bad stuff feels like.

Keep going.
Don't you DARE give up.
You really are closer than you realize.

Just look around and appreciate how far you have come.

Happy journey lovelies.
Don't you dare give up.....
I'm watching you ;-)

How's your "journey" going gorgeous girl?

    1. You know better than me Celia how our timetable means nothing. Our higher power really controls everything, and sometimes we are meant to be treading water for a while xx

  10. Wonderful post Vanessa! I think it's human nature to feel uneasy with change..creatures of habit I guess, but if we never feel pain or take a risk it will be tough to make progress.

Enjoy the start to a new week!

  11. Yet again, I feel your post speaking to me. I go back and forth between telling myself it's okay that it all hasn't come to fruition yet, but at the same time I do judge myself on the time I had and could have spent but didn't....the months and years go by so quickly! Sometimes things work out in the timing that they do because they are meant to-not a moment too early or too late. Thanks Vanessa! :)

  14. Hi lovely Van ... loved this post. I read somewhere once that a number of very famous stars and singers were on the verge of giving up just before they got their lucky break. That stuck with me ... life is scary yet wonderful that way sometimes ... we never know what gift lies right around the corner! We just have to keep walking to get to it! You never cease to inspire here, love. Thanks for stopping by ... I love reading your comments! xoSandy

    1. Yes Sandy, I've read similar stories and have a number of books about how people gave up, or didn't give up just as "they found gold". It's what keeps me going when those gremlins decide to play with my mindset x
